Andreas Ofner's appointment

Andreas Ofner joined the underwriting teams at CCR Re in January 2017 as Vice President Treaties Germany - Austria - Switzerland.

At 42 years of age, Andreas Ofner holds a masters in Insurance Management from Enass, a diploma in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Hagen (Germany) and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National Academy for Commerce and Trade (Austria).

After having begun his career in 1998 at Munich Re in the Treaty and Facultative P&C department, he joined Scor in 2002 where he held a variety of Facultative underwriting positions in Paris and in London. In 2010, he took charge of the Construction / Technical Risks portfolio of Liberty International Underwriters in Paris and accompanied the development of European market Non-Life business. Prior to joining CCR Re, Andreas Ofner had occupied the position of Senior Technical Lines Underwriter at Generali from 2015.
