In December 2017, the French insurer Covéa issued a 90-million-euro Cat Bond through the Irish reinsurer Hexagon Re. The bond was issued to cover Covéa Group property insurers against losses from windstorms occurring on the French mainland. We interviewed the Covéa Group about the transaction.
