NAIAD damage modelling workshop
The Damage Modelling Workshop is organized by CCR the 1st and 2nd October 2018

This workshop aims to bring together insurers, practitioners and researchers from various disciplines to make room for debate on damage modelling and nature-based solutions issues.
The first day is dedicated to flood and drought damage assessment. The second day will be dedicated on protective measures effects assessment.
This workshop takes place within the NAIAD H2020 European project. NAIAD aims to operationalize the insurance value of ecosystems for water-related risk mitigation, by developing and testing concepts, tools and applications on 9 demo sites across Europe, under the common concept of Nature Based Solutions (NBS).
The participation to the workshop is on invitation only.
AIAD project aims to operationalise “Natural Assurance Schemes”, defined as a range of schemes to internalise the insurance value of river systems.
