Nicolas Bauduceau, Head of Public Funds and Prevention, CCR

Nicolas Bauduceau has joined the team at CCR as Head of the Public Funds & Prevention Department. His experience will significantly enhance CCR’s natural risk prevention expertise as well as the quality of service delivered to local municipalities.

At 41 years of age, Nicolas Bauduceau holds a diploma in agricultural engineering from the French National Institute of Agronomy at Paris-Grignon (INA-PG) and a post-graduate degree in international economy (Paris II). Over the past 15 years, he worked in the area of natural risk prevention and assessment while supporting the related public policies in France and in Europe.

Nicolas Bauduceau began his career in 2000 as a member of the Loire Plan Multidisciplinary Team charged with implementing a flood risk prevention strategy for the Loire basin. In 2003, he joined the Paris-based consulting firm of AScA specializing in the assessment of environmental public policies, and natural risk prevention. In 2006, he worked for the European Center for Flood Risk Prevention (CEPRI) as an advisor later becoming scientific and technical deputy director then director in 2010.
