CCR, partner of the COP 21

As a reinsurer, CCR provides its assistance to both individuals and the community by offering the financial protection of their property and businesses.

In particular, its expertise in terms of natural disasters enables a deeper understanding of exposure to weather risks among insurers and public authorities thereby helping them to reduce their vulnerability to such risks thanks to effective territorial planning and prevention measures.

The aim of CCR's research efforts on climate warming is to reduce the gap between economic and insured costs by contributing to the development of the different facets of risk management: claims handling, risk prevention, crisis management and territorial planning so as to organize a genuine pooling of risks at the national scale.

The challenges faced by the COP 21 are those of our community and CCR joins the debate as a COP 21 partner.
